Your ear candy is back! Here are some performances from SBS K-POP Star Audition Episode 15, which is the TOP 9 Live Show. This is part 2, and you can see the part 1 here.
It's a pity that her vocal nodules hasn't healed yet, but she succeed
delivering the emotion. This song is already great itself. I'm sure she
can do better than this, but she had drown me to her charm. Her voice is
so smooth.
2. Baek Ah-yeon (백아연) covers of Do You Know (아시나요) by Jo Sung-mo (조성모)
Baek Ah-yeon's voice is as clear as water. I really love her voice.
Judges used to say that she lacks emotion. But she succeed delivering it
with this performance.
You really can't judge people by their age. Ji-min is only 15 but her performance is just so cool. That's one of the reason why she could wow the world with just a performance covering Adele. This performance is awesome as well. Check this out.
4. Lee Seung-hoon (이승훈) covers of Short Hair (단발머리) by Cho Young-pil (조영필)
Lee Seung-hoon is an artist. He never fails to wow me with each of his performance. Now he had signed with YG Entertainment, the home of Big Bang, 2NE1 and PSY. I'm sure that is the best place for him to develop himself as the real star.

Ghost Announcement
Due to the 2012 London Olympics, the drama "Ghost" and some other dramas are not showing. The two last episodes of Ghost will take places next week, or if there are any changes, it will air at least two weeks from now. [MUSIC] I'm Sorry I Love You OST
I just finished watching a 2004 drama titled: "I'm Sorry I Love You", starring So Ji-sub and Im Soo-jung. This drama is a tragic and sad one. But my favorite amongst all is the soundtrack by Park Hyo-shin. His voice is the best if you're talking about ballad. Here is the track with a short preview of the drama.

There are many great performances on the show. These are those who gave great impressions to me. These performances are performances before the live show.
1. Park Ji-min (박지민)
Park Ji-min covers Rolling In The Deep by Adele, and she wows people around the world. She even appeared on CNN because of this performance. It's hard to believe that she's only 15!
2. SuPearls
SuPearls is a 4-members group that was made for the show. This group members are Park Ji-min (박지민), Michelle Lee, Lee Jung-mi (이정미) and Lee Seung-joo (이승주). They had covered The Boys by Girls' Generation and Fame. This group's harmony is sick!
3. Lee Ha-yi (이하이)
Lee Ha-yi had covered Mercy by Duffy. I really like it when she sings the line "I love you"! She has such a unique voice and I just love seeing her!
4. Kim Soo-hwan (김수환)
Kim Soo-hwan's voice and skill are not as good as the other contestants. He doesn't make it to the TOP 10 as well. But he had inspired many people. He has bad eyesight that makes him can't walk alone. He needs someone to guide him. But he dances. He practices dance moves and it is really touching. You have no idea how he could practice dancing while he can't even see that well. But he doesn't give up on his condition. he keeps doing his best to fulfill his dreams. And he also covered I'm So Fortunate (다행이다) by Lee-juk (이적). This performance touches my heart. He sings it with sincerity, with all of his heart and it was really, really good.
5. Lee Seung-hoon (이승훈)
Okay, this is something you shouldn't ever miss! This is a group performance, but the concept, the idea and all are directed by Lee Seung-hoon, that's why I only put his name. The girl at the video is Park Jung-eun (박정은) and the little boy is Choi Rae-sung (최래성). These three are the dancing genius on the show. But what makes this stage really special is the idea by Lee Seung-hoon. He always so creative on each of his performance. This is one of them and you should see it by yourself. The song is Father (아버지) by Dynamic Duo.

[MUSIC] Another good songs to listen
Back with another music recommendation, here we go!
Recently, I'm not into K-POP very much. I'm still listening to Korean music, but not the boy or girl groups. Nowadays I find myself enjoying solo or group singers, but not those with dance music. And I'm also watching SBS K-POP Star Audition. The performances there are cool! I'll post about that next time.
1. K.Will
K.Will is a Korean singer with such a beautiful voice. I really love his songs, such as: My Heart Is Beating, I Need You and Gift. Few weeks ago, he released a single track titled: We Never Go Alone (지금처럼). He displays his mature vocals and charms all the listeners.
2. Two Months
Two Months is a 2-members group, and they are the second runner-up at the show "Superstar K3". From the first time I hear Kim Ye-rim's voice, I fell in love. She has such a unique voice. They covered "Thoughts Of You (니 생각)" by Yoon Jung-shin on the stage of Superstar K3. And I guess they record it and released their version of that song, with the MV as well. I don't really like it when I first listened to it, but as I listen and I listen.. I think I love this song. It has an easy feel on it. A perfect song to listen at the end of your busy and tiring day.
3. Jungkey (정키)
Truly, I have no idea who these guys are. I found it when I'm watching SBS K-POP Star Audition. One of the contestants performed this song and I like it. When I searched the song, it turned out that this song is Jungkey's True Heart (진심). It is a sad ballad track about breakup.
I will be back soon with performances from SBS K-POP Star Audition! That show totally blows me up!

Recently, I enjoy reading webtoons. What is webtoon? Well, for all of you who doesn't know, Wikipedia says that webtoon is an animated comic strip that is distributed via the internet which are
often created by amateur creators. Usually webtoons are drawn in full
color and read in one long strip per chapter.
One of the first webtoon that I read is Cactus & Radio. The 1st-4th chapter are titled Confession. You can read it here.
However, that's not what I'm going to post. What I want to share is a song that being request in the end of chapter 4, 헤어져 (Break Up) by As One.
It is a quite simple ballad song and the lyrics are so simple as well, but I find this song very easy listening and refreshing. It has a similar feeling with 햇살이 아파 (The Sunlight Hurts) by Standing Egg feat. Han So-hyun (I've already posted the song in this blog).
Anyway, happy listening!
And I'm giving you a bonus, a song by my favorite solo singer, IU. She made a come back at the music industry with her title song: 하루끝 (Every End Of The Day). A lovely song, as lovely as the singer ^^

[MUSIC] Immortal Songs 2 with JYP
It's been a long time since the last time I post music here.
I was watching Immortal Songs 2 as I always do, and this week performances are covering Park Jin-young as known as JYP's songs. He is very famous as a singer, actor and producer. If you are Korean, there is no way you don't know this man. He produced some best groups in the K-POP industry, such as g.o.d, 2PM, 2AM, Wonder Girls and Miss A.
There are 12 singers that did a cover of JYP's production, but these are my favorites:
1. Miss A's Bad Girl Good Girl was being re-mixed and performed by Lyn. It has a totally different feeling in it.
2. Shin Young-jae covers This Song (이 노래) by 2AM. He starts with a video, to support the story of the song. If you are a girl and you know Korean, you probably cry while watching this. The lyrics is very touching and the song mix completely with Young-jae's vocal.
3. This is my favorite amongst all of the performances on the night: Lee Hae-ri covering Behind You (너의 뒤에서) by JYP. As expected from Hae-ri, she did an awesome job on the song. It is a ballad track and I think she didn't do much on changing the song, but she sang the song whole-heartedly with her voice which is very beautiful. She has such a clear and honest voice. You can't help but enjoy the performance. This song had moved me to tears.
4. And now, the last performance on the night and the winner with 419 votes (just has one vote difference with Hae-ri), we have Ailee who covers Don't Leave Me (날 떠나지마) by JYP. This is JYP's debut song. Ailee is a rookie and young singer yet she has so much power on her vocal. She made this song alive. Mighty Mouth's Shorry J made a guest appearance here. This is a fun track that can be enjoyed by everyone.

[MUSIC] Voice Korea
Few days ago, I downloaded a singing competition show called ''Voice Korea''. It has the same concept with ''The Voice''. There are some awesome performances at the battle stage and I'd like to share it here ^^
1. Jung Jae-ho & Hwang Ye-rin (정재호 & 황예린)
This is the first duet of the night. They performed ''Pretending (안부)'' by Byul & Na Yoon-kwon (별 & 나윤권). I really like Jae-ho's voice. Ye-rin delivered a great performances as well, but in the end, Jae-ho won the battle.
2. Yoo Sung-eun & Im Jin-ho (유성은 & 임진호)
Yoo Sung-eun & Im Jin-ho performed a beautiful ballad that shows the quality of their vocals. The title of the song is ''미소를 띄우며 나를 보낸 그 모습처럼''. If I have to translate that to English, I think it'd be: Like the face that sends me away with a smile. With tears on her eyes, Baek Ji-young (their coach) chose Yoo Sung-eun to go to the next round.
3. Woo Hye-mi & Jung So-yeon (우혜미 & 정소연)
Next, there is Woo Hye-mi and Jung So-yeon that performed ''아쉬움'' or Pity. Woo Hye-mi won this round.
4. Shin Ji-hyun & Jo Ji-eun (신지현 & 조지은)
This is not the best performance on the night, however I like the song, ''Warning (경고)''.I hope you can enjoy it as much as I do. Anyway, this round belongs to Shin Ji-hyun.
5. Son Seung-yeon & Oh Seul-gi
A battle round that makes the judges gave standing ovation, Son Seung-yeon & Oh Seul-gi's ''하늘에서 남자들이 비처럼 내려와''. This is such an explosive performance. In the end, Sung-yeon crowned as the first ''Voice Korea''.
6. Sam & Kwon Soon-jae (샘구 & 권순재)
In this battle round, the two of them performed Brown Eyes' ''Don't Go Don't Go (가지마 가지마)''. This is such a sad and beautiful song, but this is a very hard song to sing as well. Brown Eyes' songs mostly are difficult. However, they did a great job. And in the end, Sam beat Soon-jae.
7. Kang Mi-jin & Lee Chan-mi (강미진 & 이찬미)
This is a performance you don't wanna miss! Both of them did a really great job covering the song ''Maria''. I especially love Mi-jin's voice, but Chan-mi has a great voice too. Sadly, even after such a great performance, one of them must go home. And it was Chan-mi.
8. Lee Eun-ah & Sun Ji-hye (이은아 & 선지혜)
Last but not least, we have Lee Eun-ah & Sun Ji-hye performed ''Don't Forget Me'' by Baek Ji-young. Lee Eun-ah advanced to the next round, but I love Ji-hye's performance more.
Do you think this is too many? I've sorted it but I still come up with this many. However, these are worth watching. Which is your favorite? :)

[MUSIC] INFINITE's 3rd Album: ''INFINITIZE""
Finally, INFINITE is back! They are back with an album titled INFINITIZE. The title track, ''The Chaser (추격자)'' is a big hit! As expected from INFINITE, they are never upsetting. Wish all the best for them!

This is my favorite track among all the tracks on this album. This song has a ''Tic Toc'' feel in it, and I love it so much.

Okay, it's time for the music corner!
So today, I found a singer named Coffee Boy. He has a sweet voice and he composes his own songs. I've been listening to his songs and I found that each of his songs is showing who he really is. And here I go, sharing some of his music:

This song is telling you that no matter what kind of problem that you're facing right now, that's all nothing. You just need to get up. Everything will be alright.
