[MUSIC] K-POP Star Audition Part. I

K-POP Star Audition is a singing audition program hosted by SBS. What makes this audition program different than the others are the fact that this program is being judged by a representative from 3 biggest agencies in Korea: SM Entertainment (BoA), JYP Entertainment (Park Jin-young) and YG Entertainment (Yang Hyun-suk). The winner can choose one of these 3 agencies and he/she will get an instant debut as a singer.

There are many great performances on the show. These are those who gave great impressions to me. These performances are performances before the live show.

1. Park Ji-min (박지민)

Park Ji-min covers Rolling In The Deep by Adele, and she wows people around the world. She even appeared on CNN because of this performance. It's hard to believe that she's only 15!

2. SuPearls
SuPearls is a 4-members group that was made for the show. This group members are Park Ji-min (박지민), Michelle Lee, Lee Jung-mi (이정미) and Lee Seung-joo (이승주). They had covered The Boys by Girls' Generation and Fame. This group's harmony is sick!

3. Lee Ha-yi (이하이)

Lee Ha-yi had covered Mercy by Duffy. I really like it when she sings the line "I love you"! She has such a unique voice and I just love seeing her!

4. Kim Soo-hwan (김수환)

Kim Soo-hwan's voice and skill are not as good as the other contestants. He doesn't make it to the TOP 10 as well. But he had inspired many people. He has bad eyesight that makes him can't walk alone. He needs someone to guide him. But he dances. He practices dance moves and it is really touching. You have no idea how he could practice dancing while he can't even see that well. But he doesn't give up on his condition. he keeps doing his best to fulfill his dreams. And he also covered I'm So Fortunate (다행이다) by Lee-juk (이적). This performance touches my heart. He sings it with sincerity, with all of his heart and it was really, really good.

5. Lee Seung-hoon (이승훈)

Okay, this is something you shouldn't ever miss! This is a group performance, but the concept, the idea and all are directed by Lee Seung-hoon, that's why I only put his name. The girl at the video is Park Jung-eun (박정은) and the little boy is Choi Rae-sung (최래성). These three are the dancing genius on the show. But what makes this stage really special is the idea by Lee Seung-hoon. He always so creative on each of his performance. This is one of them and you should see it by yourself. The song is Father (아버지) by Dynamic Duo.
